The 34th Annual Gala was a night to remember. From inspiring student stories to incredible food and exciting auctions, the evening reflected the generosity and spirit of the FareStart community.

From the first course to the last, Chef Devon Capocelli of Mezzanotte brought his Italian roots and thoughtful approach to cooking into the FareStart kitchen for Guest Chef Night.

FareStart students had the chance to work alongside Chef Devon throughout the evening, gaining hands-on experience in a live restaurant setting and learning from a chef whose work blends traditional Italian technique with a distinctly Seattle perspective.

Thank you to Chef Devon for sharing his time and experience with our students, and to our volunteers and partners from Sound who helped make the evening run smoothly. We’re also grateful to our Guest Chef Night sponsors, Wells Fargo and US Foods for their continued support.

Thank you for making the 34th Annual FareStart Gala so special! 💚

Last weekend, our community gathered at Fremont Studios for an evening of incredible food and a shared commitment to opportunity. Together, we raised over $2.3 million to support FareStart’s mission of transforming lives through food and job training. A new fundraising record for the gala!

Thank you to our guests, donors, gala co-chairs, auction committee, board of directors, volunteers and staff for the generosity and care you brought to our celebration. We’re also thankful to our students and graduates, including Anthony, who shared his inspiring story with our community.

Our hospitality partners made the evening delicious.
