We will be starting our CPR certification workshops for South Park! Join us for an important class to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community! Topics include:
Adult/Infant/Child CPR
Using an AED
Choking Intervention
The first session is a month away, and we want to get the word out to as many people as possible.

June 6, 2-5, SP Hall
June 13, 10-2, DV Community Hub
June 20, 12-4, DV Community Hub
Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees who successfully complete the course will receive an HSI certification card. We will be inviting other partners to table and share information on other ways to keep ourselves and each other safe. The entire community is welcome, 13 years-old and up, and we’d like to see faces from across the neighborhood. If you live, work, or play in South Park, this free training is for YOU!

Our community is grieving the loss of two teen boys due to recent gun violence. This loss has deeply impacted our students, families, and school staff.

In response, Rainier Beach High School and South Shore PreK 8 are asking for trusted community members to show up during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times. A visible, caring adult presence helps create a sense of safety, stability, and support during a difficult time.

This is about being present, grounded, and supportive for our youth and families.
