The Schooner Lavengro is a restoration project of the Northwest Schooner Society. The Society's mission is to preserve our sailing heritage by restoring and operating historic maritime properties. Denegre and his family, the Lavengro now sails in the connecting waters of Seattle's Lakes Union and Washington, as well as occasional charters in Puget Sound. Private charters carrying up to 22 passengers can be arranged by emailing [email protected]. These charters help pay the bills and allow Schooner Lavengro to offer free public sails on Sundays with the Center for Wooden Boats, as well as aiding CWB in youth outreach programing.
