Fremont Neighborhood Council We are a chartered organization representing the residents of the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle, Washington.

All Fremont residents are welcome and encouraged to join. Meetings are every 4th Tuesday of the month from 7-8:30 at the Doric Lodge in Fremont. The Fremont Neighborhood Council works to make Fremont a healthy, welcoming community. Voting membership is open to all Fremont residents, while anyone interested in what we do is welcome to join as a nonvoting member. We partner with Friends of the Tro

Some good stuff is happening in the neighborhood. This is just a curated list; there’s plenty more going on in Fremont. We’re working on a way to provide a comprehensive list of Fremont events, from shows to book clubs, so stay tuned!

August 21: Fremont Fridays Week 9
Fremont Fridays reaches its ninth week with its first EDM night, a collaboration with Seattle Paddle Rave that brings the group’s on-water party to dry land. The first 100 attendees with a Fremont Fridays wristband get a voucher for a limited-edition MiiR x Fremont Fridays tumbler, so arrive early.

August 22: Fremont Arts Council Presents Night at the Grand Opera
The Fremont Arts Council welcomes Olympia’s String & Shadow Puppet Theater for a one-night-only performance of “Night at the Grand Opera” at 7 p.m. at the Magnuson Park Amphitheater, 6344 NE 74th St. The performance is free and open to the community thanks to 4Culture, though registration is encouraged and paid tickets, $35 general admission and $10 for kids, send all proceeds to the theater. Bring a chair or blanket.

August 25: Movie Night at B.F. Day
The Fremont Neighborhood Council hosts a free family-friendly outdoor movie night at B.F. Day Playground, 4020 Fremont Ave. N., screening “School of Rock.” Community organizations will be on hand starting at 6 p.m., with the movie beginning at dusk. Bring your loved ones, blankets, and snacks!
