Seattle Parks and Recreation Lifelong Recreation offers a wide range of fitness and social programs for people 50 and better that change each season. Programs are offered at each of Seattle's 26 community centers and other facilities.

Want to learn Watercolor, or improve your skills? Join us this fall at Rainier Community Center for a new Watercolor class for ages 50+! Join us for an all-levels class where you'll learn brush-handling, dry and wet techniques, masking, and more. No experience necessary. Please bring your own materials. Sign up for either session or both!

Looking to get stronger this summer? There is a great free Circuit Training fitness class for adults 50+ offered this summer at the Pritchard Beach Bathhouse, and there is still room for you! Class is on Wednesdays 10-11am, now through August 26. You'll do a circuit of strength training and cardio exercises to work on range of motion and balance. This class is great for beginners and anyone looking to start exercising more regularly, as well as those seeking more challenge, as it offers lots of modifications and no judgment.
In the Fall, this class will move back to in its regular location at Van Asselt Community Center. Instructor: Erika Hagiiwa.
