⚠️ Skate School Cancellation

Today’s Skate School activation at roxhill is canceled due to unsafe conditions in the immediate area, including recent fires and safety concerns related to activity at a nearby encampment.

For the safety of our participants, families, and staff, we will not be operating at the location today.

🎪 Big Day of Play Reminder! 🎉

Just a reminder: there will be no regular Rec N’ The Streets activations Friday (today) or Saturday as the entire RNTS crew gears up for the Big Day of Play!

🔧 Friday: We’re behind the scenes preparing, hauling, organizing, and assembling the great carnival-style fun bonanza that awaits you Saturday.

🎉 Saturday: Forget the regular schedule and come find us at Rainier Playfield and Mt. Baker Rowing & Sailing Center from 12:00–5:00 PM! All RNTS teams will be out supporting activities and helping make the Big Day of Play appropriately BIG.

Come visit us. Come explore. Come play.

🎉 The Big Day of Play is almost here! 🎉

With something this BIG, we need a little time to get everything into place.

🔧 Friday: All Rec N’ The Streets activations will be canceled as our teams prepare for the Big Day of Play, move equipment, and handle the logistical setup needed for Saturday.

🎪 Saturday: All regular RNTS programming will also be canceled because every RNTS team will be at the Big Day of Play! Each of our zones will be present and managing different activities throughout the event.

Instead of finding us at our usual parks and programs, come find the whole crew in one place!

Expect live performances, a fun run, youth basketball, water activities, pickleball and tennis, a community resource fair, food trucks, bounce houses, a block party, and plenty more.

Heading out to grab your fresh veggies and local goods at the Columbia City Neighborhood Farmers Market? Make sure to stop by and party with us! Rec 'N the Streets is bringing a free Farmers' Market Party right next to the action every single Wednesday!

We will have awesome games and activities set up for all ages and skill levels. Grab your market snacks, bring your friends or family, and jump into the fun! 🌳👇
