On June 3, 2026, we celebrated the grand re-opening of Bush Garden with Taiko, lion dance and gathering of community!

Bush Garden, ⛩ Bush Garden Restaurant & Bar , a historic Japanese restaurant known for its karaoke, originated in Seattle’s Chinatown in 1953. Started by Kaichi Seko, the restaurant, initially located in the Bush Hotel on Jackson Street, quickly gained popularity and became a favorite spot for various social gatherings and events.

After years long closure beginning during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Owner Karen Sakata and the Bush Garden team announced the official reopening earlier this year, calling it “a homecoming for everyone who has ever shared a meal, a song, or a late-night memory at Bush Garden.”

Welcome back to the neighborhood ⛩ Bush Garden Restaurant & Bar ! 🎉

⏰Open Wednesdays-Mondays as a family-friendly restaurant from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., then transitions to a 21-and-over karaoke and late-night dining experience from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
📍714 S King st, Across from Wing Luke Museum
