That’s a wrap Alaska! ⚡️

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency spent two days at the Alaska Sustainable Energy Conference meeting with incredible people and businesses who are passionate about bringing the Golden Age of Alaskan energy to the forefront of President Trump’s American Energy Dominance initiative.

Thank you Governor Mike Dunleavy, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, U.S. EPA Great Lakes Region and U.S. EPA South Central Region for an amazing time in Anchorage.

We cannot wait to see you all next year!

in Portland, there is a small apiary where a group of honeybees have beachfront condos?! Along the Willamette River, sits a happy colony thriving as advances the cleanup of the Portland Harbor Superfund Site. The bees are used to pollinate the community garden and teach the youth about environmental stewardship.

Our Regional Administrator was happy to stop by and view the busy bees hard at work as we toured Cathedral Park.

Last week, Region 10 celebrated the grand opening of Earthwise’s new Lumber Salvage Warehouse in Seattle!🎉🌲

Thanks to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling (SWIFR) grant, Earthwise is expanding its ability to keep reusable materials out of the landfill and strengthen local recycling systems. This grant supports communities as they improve post‑consumer materials management and build more resilient, sustainable waste programs.

At EPA, we’re committed to Powering the Great American Comeback. 💪♻️
