Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to visit Hubbard Homestead Park and explore our newly developed play area. Hubbard Homestead Park offers an amazing community gathering space for all-skaters, basketball, street hockey, and a new play area for all.

As part of the park improvement project SPR is worked with One Roof Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena, to expand the existing basketball court and create a new paved sports court with basketball hoops and goals at each end.

Do you live near Licton Springs Park? We are beginning construction on the restroom replacement project as soon as Monday, October 19, 2026!

SPR has awarded the contract for this work to Peak Drywall. During construction the restroom and a small area adjacent to the building will closed. SPR anticipates the restroom will open to the public in spring 2027.

This project replaces the Licton Springs Park restroom building that was destroyed by arson in 2021. The new building will include two single stall restrooms, and a small community storage space. The new building will meet SPR design and engineering standards, as well as comply with current applicable building codes.
