Today, Eric enjoys a peaceful life, with an apartment his wife and their cats call home and a strong community at his side. It's a life that once felt out of reach to Eric.

With coordinated recovery and housing support from Catholic Community Services' Matt Talbot Center and Housing and Essential Needs program, Eric has overcome homelessness and substance use to find stability.
“It’s been a good road,” Eric says. “Now, I live a really good life.”
Now, Eric is working to become a recovery coach to help others on their recovery journeys discover the hope he's found.
