Much Ado About Sebastopol

Much Ado About Sebastopol September 24 & 25, 2016 Celebrate the annual Feast of St. Join us again September 24 - 25, 2016! This day, Queen Elizabeth I will go hunting with her courtiers.

Michael (Michelmas), the autumnal equinox when the people of the 16th century town of Fenford make merry and give thanks for their bountiful harvest. Her Master of Horse has arranged to lead her back to his manor by way of this humble country festival! Here she will meet her loyal subjects, who look forward to entertaining her in their admittedly rustic but heart-felt fashion. The streets will be

alive with the sights, sounds, entertainment, seasonal rituals and the citizens of the local community from all walks of life, free of their laborious daily routines, celebrating this extraordinary occasion; traders from afar coming to sell their wares or make business deals with the local merchants; young lovers flirting and chasing one another through the lanes; diplomats and dignitaries following the train of the Queen hoping to secure an audience with her. Handcrafted items offered for sale to the public and hearty period food enhance the experience. Proceeds from this event will go to the Sebastopol Union schools to support educational programs for our local lasses and lads in such areas as music, art, and sports funding. Adult ticket price at the gate: $16
Senior ticket price at the gate: $10
Students ages 11 - 17 ticket price at the gate: $10
Children 10 and younger are FREE

Greetings valued citizens, visitors and merchants of Fenford. Due to a shortage of volunteers and conflicts with other area Renaissance Faire dates, Much Ado About Sebastopol will not be held in 2017. We are considering ways to bring the faire back at a future date.Thank you for the community, the memories, and the years of supporting the students of Sebastopol Union School District. Fare-thee-anon good friends.
