Recently there have been several attempts to pass phony money at some of our businesses in town. The Sebastopol Police Department takes this very seriously. One subject has been arrested and charged in connection with this sort of activity. If you are doing business, please take the extra time to inspect incoming currency. If you attempt to pass such bills, you will be held accountable.

The Sebastopol Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of police officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED. A valid Mississippi driver’s license is also required.
Interested candidates may apply at the Sebastopol Town Hall during regular business hours.
