Highlands County Republican Party Highlands county's local Republican party Optional Dinner and refreshments can be ordered in the conference room from the restaurant menu from 5 - 6:15 pm.

The Highlands County Republican Party meets on the second Thursday of every month at the Island View Restaurant at Sun 'N Lakes in Sebring at 6:30pm. Masks are required! All are welcome and invited to attend, however guests are required to RSVP by calling our office 863 402-5456

The Highlands County Republican Party meets on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. For the June 11, 2020 meeting we will meet in the banquet room of the Island View Restaurant at Sun N Lake in Sebring. Optional Dinner and refreshments can be ordered in the conference room prior to the meeting from a limited restaurant menu from 5 - 6 pm. The Highlands County Republican headquarters is located across Sparta Road from our old location at 2934 Sparta Road, Sebring, FL 33870 GOP Principles: I Believe… The proper function of government is to do for the people those things that have to be done but cannot be done, or cannot be done as well, by individuals, and that the most effective government is government closest to the people. I Believe… Good government is based upon the individual and that each person’s ability, dignity, freedom, and responsibility must be honored and recognized. I Believe… The free enterprise and the encouragement of individual initiative and incentive have given this nation an economic system second to none. I Believe… Sound money management should be our goal. I Believe… In equal right, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, age, s*x or national origin. I Believe… We must retain those principles of the past worth retaining, yet always be receptive to new ideas with an outlook broad enough to accommodate thoughtful change and varying points of view. I Believe… That Americans value and should preserve their feeling of national strength and pride, and at the same time share with people everywhere a desire for peace and freedom and the extension of human rights throughout the world. I Believe… The Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
