Truth in Millage or TRIM notices have been mailed out by the Property Appraiser's office. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐚 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥. It is a notice of the proposed property taxes and provides property owners with information about the taxing authorities, proposed tax rates, and proposed tax amounts before the taxing authorities hold their public hearings and finalize the budgets and millage rates.

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: The TRIM notice does not include the non-ad valorem assessments such as fire and garbage. The tax bills mailed out late October 2026 by our office will include both ad valorem and non-ad valorem amounts due.

Due to the proximity of the Caladium Festival, our Lake Placid office will be closed on Friday, July 24th. However, both our Sebring and Avon Park offices will remain open during normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

We are currently taking applications for the quarterly property tax installment payment plan through April 30, 2026.

This application would be for your 2026 property tax payments, as partial payments are not allowed on prior year property taxes.
