Big thank you to PSE&G for allowing the Secaucus Fire Department to utilize their facility at 330 County Avenue for firefighter training this past weekend.

This training marked our first acquired structure drill in nearly a decade, giving nearly 30 firefighters the opportunity to train on ventilation, hose advancement, search & rescue, breaching, and other critical fireground operations in a realistic environment.

Special thanks as well to Hudson Regional Hospital EMS for standing by throughout the training and helping ensure a safe and successful day for everyone involved. 🚑🚒

Training like this keeps our members prepared to protect the residents and businesses of Secaucus safely and effectively. We appreciate the continued partnership and support from PSE&G. 🔥

🚒🫀 The members of the Secaucus Fire Department recently completed their Annual CPR & AED Training during the months of April and May.

This year’s training focused on real-life emergency scenarios, including simulations of a “Firefighter Down” situation — helping our members sharpen the lifesaving skills needed when seconds matter most.

A huge thank you to Doug Tobin and Metropolitan Medical Corp for providing outstanding instruction and continued support of our department.

Training today saves lives tomorrow. 💪🚑
