Budgeting & Saving

4th and 5th graders are invited to join us & a TD Bank representative as we learn what needs and wants are, and how to budget and save for them. Attendees will learn:

* The purpose of budgeting
* How to create a budget
* What is interest
* How to calculate interest rates

On Saturday, May 30th, children visited the Katherine Steffens Annex for Sprout Scouts: A Planting Adventure Program. Children listened to a story about gardening and planted their own vegetables & herbs to take home. Fun was had by all making it a successful program. Thank you to all who attended! AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

The Friends of the Secaucus Public Library are partnering with the AMNH to offer museum admission vouchers to Secaucus residents with a valid library card at the discounted rate of $10 per ticket.

Limit of four vouchers per household per year. Each voucher grants admission for one adult or child to the museum's permanent collection and a special exhibition or show of the visitor's choice. Bring voucher to the front desk at the museum for admittance.

Tickets may be purchased at the main library's 2nd floor reference desk or at the Katherine Steffens Annex, while supplies last. First come, first serve.

Ticket sales start at 9am on June 15th, 2026.
