We appreciate and thank them so much for their support!

Pettis County Real Estate Company decided that every Friday in 2024 we want to take time to thank a member of our community for being an outstanding individual, fantastic at their job or for just being a nice person. Nothing is better than going out in the community and being greeted with a smiling face, pleasant conversation or a happiness vibe you just can’t deny. 😊 That being said, our fifty-first choice of who we want to thank exemplifies all of the above. ❤️

Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible employees of the Pettis County Community Partnership (PCCP). Since its inception in 1997, PCCP has been a beacon of hope and support for our community, guided by the visionary initiative of Missouri Governor Carnahan.

The full-time employees at PCCP—Mari Asbury, Vanessa Turner, Breanna Brown, Macie Meier, Elizabeth Silverest, Kaitlan Patton and the part-time gem, Kim Rowles—are nothing short of extraordinary. Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts enrich our community in countless ways. Together, they embody the spirit of collaboration and commitment that makes Pettis County a better place for all of us.

PCCP is not just an organization; it’s a lifeline for many. Their programs, such as the fatherhood mentor program, which supports single dads, and initiatives that help fund children's extracurricular activities, transform lives and empower families. Their “Give and Take Store,” “Futures Program,” and “Little Essentials Program” are just a few examples of how they strive to uplift our community members in need.

However, the work at PCCP is never done. They are currently in need of donations—hand warmers, hygiene products, food, and especially men’s clothing and shoes. Additionally, they are always on the lookout for compassionate volunteers, especially for the upcoming PIT count on January 23, which focuses on a head count of homelessness in our area.

Looking ahead, they have an exciting event on the horizon—Designer Bag Bingo in September 2025—where we can all come together to raise funds and awareness for the vital services they provide.

PCCP’s mission to strengthen our community through education, health, and economic stability is one we should all support. Their partnership with MRCC Food Co-op ensures that groceries are accessible to those who need them the most, and their outreach efforts are making a tangible difference in the lives of many.

All of us at Pettis County Real Estate Company are proud to support PCCP. Recently, we donated hand warmers, gloves, and stocking caps, along with a monetary donation to help further their mission. We want to express our deepest gratitude to the entire PCCP team and their dedicated volunteers. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly thankful to have you as part of our community.

Tune in here next Friday to see who else we want to thank. We are happy to recognize outstanding individuals in our community that we help build! Our version of paying it forward. ❤️
