As this drill weekend comes to a close, we would like to give our most sincerest thank you to SGM Amy Pulliam-Pawli for her truly remarkable service within the military! SGM Pulliam-Pawli has been such an influential figure within the 35th CAB, from her wealth of knowledge on all matters personnel related to her infectiously kind personality, she has always been a cornerstone of our S1 Section! We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done throughout your career, we wish you the best with retirement, and are truly honored to have had you within our unit!!

It is with great pleasure we congratulate CPT Corey Moon and MAJ Charles Adamson for taking the time to assist the State JAG Team, for their outstanding work in helping with their state counterparts they received a coin from COL Howerton! Their help was immensely appreciated and truly selfless of them for taking time from their personal careers to lend a hand where they could! We are truly thankful to have such wonderful people within our team and we ask that you help us congratulate them for all they have done!!

CW2 has been a pivotal piece within our S6 Section, going well and truly above and beyond with all matters data operations related within the CAB! CW2 Bryant regularly exceeds his job duties and standards set for him, showing that he is ready to be a Chief Warrant Officer! Please help us congratulate CW2 Bryant on his promotion today!!

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Bradley Hackworth on his promotion to Staff Sergeant this weekend! SSG Hackworth serves as our Geospatial Engineer, and as one of our S3 Squad Leaders, during which he has shown to be very proficient in his duties as a leader! In addition, SSG Hackworth would like to thank the unit as a whole, as well as the command team for always being supportive even through difficult times! We look forward to seeing you continue to grow and inspire others, and we congratulate you on your promotion!!

Please help us congratulate David Graham on his promotion to Captain this weekend! CPT Graham has served as our Assistant S4 for quite some time now, during which he has made a wonderful impact from his eagerness to assist and learn more in the realm of logistics/sustainment, to his overall cheerful demeaner and positive attitude for whatever comes his way! During our preparation for our next exercise, CPT Graham has been pivotal in preparing and helping us get ready with products and procedures that we may need during the exercise! Thank you for all the hard work you continue to do and congratulations CPT Graham on your promotion!!

Today, we would like to give a round of applause to SGM Patrick Ray for his intelligence shown while attending the Sergeants Major Academy! SGM Ray has always shown himself to be a good role model for those around him and has always put in the extra work; in turn, placing him on the Commandant’s List! SGM Ray received the Army Achievement Medal for exceeding the standards set at his course and demonstrating his proficiency in all manners of being an NCO! We are proud to see such an outstanding individual shine and excel! Congratulations SGM Ray!!

While attending his Master Leader Course, SFC Michael Snodell displayed great academic prowess, remarkable leadership skills, and shown he was ready to serve as a senior NCO; thus, from his stellar performance, he was placed on the Commandant’s List and awarded the Army Achievement Medal!! During his time as our Brigade Readiness NCO, SFC Snodell has regularly shown countless qualities and traits befitting a senior NCO, his vast wealth of knowledge is truly unparalleled, and he excels in any role given to him; as well, he’s always engaged with others, and shows a vested interest in bettering those around him! SFC Snodell is truly an amazing NCO, and we are thankful to have him as a part of our team!

This weekend, we would like to start off by recognizing PFC Dalton Tienter on being awarded the Missouri Commendation Ribbon! PFC Tienter received this award for his superb work on articulating the impacts current events had on the 35th CAB; his knowledge on the matter in such short notice was truly marvelous! Upon completion of his assessment, PFC Tienter was able to facilitate complex questions that came his way and provide clarity well above that expected of his rank and grade! Please help us congratulate PFC Tienter for his outstanding work!!

This evening, we would like to recognize one of our exceptional NCOs on his promotion to the rank of Master Sergeant today! MSG Charles Naugle is an exemplary NCO, who regularly goes well and openly above and beyond in support of the 35th CAB with all our sustainment needs! During Warfighters, Annual Trainings, and drills MSG Naugle is always giving his all, and is truly one of the hardest workers, making sure everything is ready to run flawlessly! In addition, MSG Naugle has an infectiously positive attitude, and always a pleasure to be around, even in stressful and difficult training exercises he has a smile on his face and ready to help anyone in need! We are truly appreciative to have such a remarkable NCO as a member of our team and congratulate you MSG Naugle on a much-deserved promotion!!

Today, we had the gracious honor of conducting SGT Paul Butler’s retirement ceremony! We are truly appreciative and thankful to have been able to have such a remarkable NCO help shape and mold our unit and motivate those within to strive for greatness! SGT Butler stated over the course of his career that SFC Charles Naugle, SFC Bryan Gillette and 1SG Dean Byers were the most impactful individuals to him, they guided and mentor him to be become a better soldier and person, able to run autonomously whether anyone was around or not, and to support those around him no matter the issue! In addition, SGT Butler remarked that he enjoyed his time at this unit because after annual trainings or big events it felt like a team and appreciated those moments! Thank you for all that you have done for the 35th CAB SGT Butler, we are thankful and proud to have had you as one of our NCOs!

This morning, we had the pleasure of recognizing one of our most outstanding NCOs for their tireless support to our unit! SSG Joshua Parker was awarded the Army Commendation Medal this morning for assisting more than sixty soldiers during our individual weapons qualification! During which time, SSG Parker worked around the clock to make sure everything was ready to go with the EST 2000 system and with our unit's weapon qualification! SSG Parker expressed that he is very appreciative that this unit takes the time to recognize its soldiers who go above and beyond and assist wherever they can; especially with how he’s seen our NCOs go the extra mile to help individuals within our unit! SSG Parker has been an extraordinary NCO within the 35th CAB, often times going out of his way to assist others who may need it, and always helping with any task or role that may arise! We appreciate all the hard work you do and congratulate you on a much-deserved award!
