There’s Still Time to Show Off Your Outdoor Photography Skills! 🌿

Have you captured an amazing outdoor photo this year? Now is the time to enter it in Missouri 4-H’s Great Outdoors Photo Contest!

Whether you’ve photographed a scenic landscape, wildlife, a beautiful sunset, or a hidden outdoor treasure, we want to see Missouri through your eyes! 👀

Age Divisions:
📷 Junior (8–10)
📷 Intermediate (11–13)
📷 Senior (14+)

Definitely the biggest difference in the renovated 4-H building was the increase in 4-H members doing demonstrations! Thank you to the Moentmann Family for your investment in 4-H'ers! Just in this photo are generations of 4-H'ers, including Ginny Moentmann's great-grandchildren, Lilliauna and Eliakim, who got to do demonstrations on the new stage this year.

Our float won 2nd place in the Missouri State Fair Parade! Thanks to committee head Amy Close, Michael Close for featuring as Uncle Sam and Seth Ream for lending and driving the truck! Thanks to all the float committee members who made the float decorations!

Kristen W. had her Show-me Wares at the 4-H Building yesterday. She has several 3d Printed little figures, phone stands and a pretty cool looking "Gum" ball machine that has 3d printed balls with prizes in them. $2.00 for five turns. Sherol picked up a few items.

Thanks to the huge crew that turned out to clean the 4-H building on Saturday! We cleaned the dorms, swept the display floor, and helped put up county banners. Everyone pitched in and we got done pretty quickly! Thanks to those who came early and those who stayed late.
A huge thank you to Jim Sappington for getting everything ready for us to clean! (He's the one on the scissor lift)

REMINDERS:

1. Premium Checks are ready - come get them.

2. Cleaning of the 4-H Building is Aug. 8th at 8 a.m. more hands make light work - so please come help - BONUS: You will get first look at the Newly remodeled 4-H Building - And we are cleaning in the A/C.

3. Parade for Opening Day at the MO State Fair - more info to come - normally we meet on State Fair Blvd around 10-11th streets at 4:45-5:00 to decorate and prepare for the drive into the State Fair

Make sure youth send out Thank You notes to their buyers. They should have gotten their buyer list by email, if not contact the extension office to get the list.
