Our members have begun seeking donations for our first silent auction being held during our August 1 Community Day event. If you are interested in donating, or have any questions, please send us a message or contact any member. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! We look forward to adding much needed equipment to our apparatus and PPE for members so that we can provide optimum emergency response when called upon!

UPDATE 5:40 pm: Brush 85 has returned to quarters and the scene was turned over to DOF.

UPDATE 4:15 pm: units have been cleared and thanked for their assistance! Sedley Tanker 80 & Engine 82 have returned to quarters. Brush 85 remains on scene with DOF.

Sedley units along with Ivor Volunteer Fire Department, Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad, Hunterdale Volunteer Fire Department and the Department of Forestry are currently on scene with an active fire near the intersection of Johnson’s Mill Road and Unity Road. Please use caution if traveling through this area.

Shoutout to Summer Brooke Photography for capturing our members during the controlled burn training yesterday. From staging and establishing a water supply to fire suppression, hands on training for junior and senior members helps our department prepare for emergency response within our community.
