🚨 The City spent your tax dollars trying to stop you from voting.

They hired expensive outside lawyers to block Prop 403 — and lost. Now taxpayers are on the hook for over $34,000… and the full amount spent on legal fees has not yet been disclosed.

🚨 Two pocket parks. Two very different stories.

We checked out Sedona’s Botanical Garden pocket park — overrun with weeds, dead and dying plants. Then we visited another that’s thriving and beautiful.

This is what happens when our City loses focus on maintaining what we already have.

We want to take care of our existing parks and create more beautiful pocket parks around town for our families to enjoy.

The new Uptown Parking Garage was supposed to cost $17.5 million. Now it’s nearly $30 million — with fewer parking spaces in Uptown, no more free parking, and more cars spilling onto our residential streets.

🚨 Your tax dollars just took a hit, Sedona.

The judge has now issued the final Amended Form of Judgment in the City’s lawsuit against the Save Sedona Committee. The City’s attempt to block a citizen initiative from reaching the ballot has been completely rejected:

Plaintiffs’ request for declaratory and injunctive relief: DENIED

City’s Motion for Summary Judgment: DENIED

Save Sedona Committee’s Motion for Summary Judgment: GRANTED

The Initiative Petition is VALID and does not violate the Arizona Constitution.

The City must pay the Save Sedona Committee’s attorneys’ fees and costs: $33,872.50 + $320.69 = $34,193.19

That’s your money spent trying to stop Sedona residents from voting on preserving the Cultural Park.

The Sedona Residents First slate has a clear, unbreakable promise: We will never, never sue to stop residents from voting on an initiative or referendum. We trust YOU to decide Sedona’s future — not fight you in court with your own tax dollars.

Enough with the lawsuits against voters. Time for leadership that respects the ballot box.

🚨 Big Win for Sedona Residents!

Jean Buillet and I called out the ridiculous $24.8 Million parking garage placeholder at the West Sedona Intercept Lot — and now it's GONE.

The Sedona Red Rock News just confirmed it: our campaign video prompted Deputy City Manager Barbara Whitehorn to admit the project was "unlikely in the next 10 years" and remove the massive placeholder from the budget.

We also flagged the overpriced Brewer Road courthouse purchase, which dropped by over $33 Million.

This is what happens when residents speak up and hold city hall accountable. Not because they suddenly decided to cut waste — but because WE made them.
