The Splane House Historical private residence located in Sedro-Woolley, WA. Maurice was born in Michigan in 1859, Johanna was a German immigrant born in Breslau in 1859.

The Splane House is a private hostorical Victorian era residence constructed by Maurice James Splane and his wife Johanna Rauprecht around 1896-1903. Maurice came to Sedro-Woolley by way of Bellingham to help set up and manage the Big Lake Mill.
