Our littlest champions had an absolutely unforgettable time at Field Day! From the bucket races and water balloon stations, the epic roller racer laps, and everyone's favorite popsicle pit stop, our kindergarteners brought massive energy, incredible teamwork, and the biggest smiles! We are so incredibly proud of their awesome sportsmanship and school spirit. They truly made it a day to remember! And a massive THANK YOU to our amazing PE coaches, Specials staff, and parent volunteers who worked so hard to make this a core memory. We couldn't do it without our incredible school village! 🫶💜

As we rapidly approach the end of this amazing school year, we'd like to wrap up with the last of our Kindergarten Teacher Features! Mrs. Adams, Ms. Kersh, Mrs. Perkins, and Mrs. Darling are the real superheroes! Thank you for your endless creativity, passion, and for having the superpower to keep a room full of 5-year-olds engaged and happy every single day. They say it takes a big heart to shape little minds, and Mrs. Deiley is proof! Thank you for being the calm in the chaos, the smile after the tears, and the encouraging voice that says, "You can do it!" You teach so much more than ABCs and 123s—you teach kindness, confidence, and curiosity. Our little ones may not remember every lesson, but they will always remember how you made them feel: safe, special, and so very loved. Thank you for being a Kindergarten hero!

Navarro ISD currently maintains a 60% student ridership rate, exceeding the 40% average for most school districts. The 2026 Bond proposes the purchase of additional buses and a secured parking expansion designed to accommodate a fleet of up to 50 buses. These upgrades support long-term operations as enrollment increases and the district opens Navarro South Elementary School in August 2027.

Additionally, the relocation of the bus parking lot would increase parking capacity for district employees providing additional space for junior high staff and visitors.
