Watched my son n law leave for work today for SAPD. I told him to be safe. I know about the officers shot this week in San Antonio while responding to a call of some type of disturbance. I’ve encountered people who feel like they have been mistreated by the police and they fear the police because of a past experience. However these same people and many others don’t understand why the police are overly suspicious or not as friendly as they think they should be. Nobody should be judged by the actions of a few but realistically it’s human nature. Can you imagine how officers feel when they put that uniform on and often get treated badly or worse, harm done to them. Fear and being guarded goes both ways.

This person is illegally in the United States. He has no form of ID and no drivers license. He is void of insurance. He ditched an open container of alcohol. He pulled out in front of me causing me to brake. Is it no wonder our insurance rates climb. He lost his car today.

This is how I found a handicapped man living. No food in the house. I called Adult Protective Services. They sent out a case worker and they were not able to provide services. How can we provide shelter, food, clothing, medical, phones and money to people who are not American citizens but we cannot and will not take care of our own? This is disgusting and we should be angry and embarrassed.

So we’ve been putting the new patrol car/truck together. We have been trying to save money. We had some center consoles donated. Here is one of the consoles I painted and added a carbon fiber top. All this cost me was some paint and time. Turned out super nice.

School buses make frequent stops to load and unload students. By law, when a school bus stops to drop off or pick up students, motorists must stop too.

It has been brought to our attention, once more, that motorists are ignoring the flashing lights and/or stop arm.

Our officers will be looking for those motorists who simply choose to ignore the law.

Let’s make sure our children are safe when loading or unloading off school buses.
