Dear Seldovians,
Your library is in need of volunteer help!
Volunteer positions are open to everyone 18 and up, whether you’re a full time or seasonal resident. You can adopt a regular a 2-hour circulation shift each week, or join our on-call list to serve as a substitute. There are a variety of other behind-the-scenes tasks we need help with, too, if you don't want to staff the circ desk.
Volunteering at the library is a great way to meet people, find out about all the latest new books and movies, and really feel like you are serving the community.
The Seldovia Public Library was established in 1935, and has been staffed by volunteers since its foundation. Let’s keep the tradition going!

Today’s Kid & Teen Book Share Club was a huge success! Ten kids showed up to talk about books, genres they enjoy, and titles they recommend. These pictures show some of the books that were featured; there were a lot of others. Next meeting is August 17th, 3-4 pm downstairs at the library!

Kids and Teens Book Share Book Club!
Get together at the library on Monday July 27th and Monday August 17th from 3:00 to 4:00 PM to talk about what you've been reading this summer and share ideas for what books you might like to read next.
