🔥 Wildland Fire Information Update 🔥

Update: As of 5:45 pm, resources have stopped the fire's forward progress and are working towards full suppression. Overall fire activity has moderated.

approximately 5-10 acres and actively burning through grass and brush, southwest of Seligman. Winds are starting to pick up and increasing fire activity.

Engines and helo currently working the fire. Arizona Forestry hand crew en route with additional resources on order.

Fire loc. approximately 20 miles southwest of Seligman, near Buck Tanks and the Double O Ranch.

We are aware of a wildland fire burning south of Interstate 40 in the Anvil Rock Road area. The fire is located several miles south of Pete M's Ranch and is currently being managed by state and federal wildland fire resources.

At this time, the fire is under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management and the Bureau of Land Management, who are coordinating suppression efforts.

There is no need for the public to report this fire unless you observe significant changes in fire behavior or a new fire in another location. We appreciate everyone's concern and will share additional information if it becomes available.

Please avoid the area and allow firefighting personnel room to work safely.
