Great job once again by the crew at Company 80!

🚨🚒 In one of the pictures you will see Firefighters B. Kline and L. Stauffer putting a Company 80 saw sticker on the Tower bucket. All the saw stickers on the bucket indicate how many roofs we’ve cut since the Tower was placed in service 🚨🚒

8/25/26 -
Company 80, along with mutual aid companies, was dispatched to reports of a structure fire in Penn Township. Tower 80 responded with a crew of 3. Initial reports were of a fire on the carpet in the living room of the structure. Tower 80 arrived to a working fire that had obviously extended to other parts of the structure. Due to limited day time staffing, Lieutenant 81 gave orders for the next arriving engine and tanker to assist in supplying tower 80, then passed command to Lieutenant 82 who was simultaneously operating the pump and conducting a 360. FF Sinko and Lt. 81 made an aggressive interior attack and quickly knocked the bulk of the fire down. Chiefs 82 and 83 eventually arrived on scene and Chief 83 took command. Multiple mutual aid companies assisted with ventilation and overhaul, thank you immensely to those partners. A special thanks to DH&L Ambulance League for going out of their way to care for a pet that was in need during this situation.
