Check out what's happening this week at Snyder County Libraries!

Tuesday June 23, Rudy Gelnett Library has the weekly Preschool story time at 10, and the Teen Creative Club at 5:30.

On Wednesday June 24, come to Jurassic Bingo with RB Winter State Park! It's happening at 5:30 at Rudy Gelnett Library.

Thursday June 25, Beavertown Library is having a Celebrate USA Program at 10:00 🎉🎉
Rudy Gelnett Library will also have the usual Thursday storytimes, with baby storytime at 9:30, and the family storytime at 5:30.

Then on Saturday, Rudy Gelnett has a new monthly teen program at 3:30: Epic Teen Writers Guild! Join us to transform from aspiring teen writer to epic teen writer. We will cover the basics of story and character structure and have fun with creative writing games. Join us for snacks and laughs and leave with a writer’s community, a solid plan for your story, and the resources to make your story come true.

We’re in peak bird breeding season in Pennsylvania, so our Third Saturday Bird Walk is back!
Where:
This time, we’ll be meeting at the parking lot of the Shade Mountain Trailhead on the south side of Route 235. Check the pin on the map or use the coordinates 40.69619551388487, -77.25856738927212
Learn about third edition of the PA Bird Atlas and moin us as we enter the forest to look and listen for signs of bird breeding activity. Great oportunity for those interested in citizen science.
When:
Saturday, June 20 at 8:00 am.
Needs:
Bring binoculars if you have them! And wear sturdy hiking shoes.

Our walk leaders will be Snyder County Bird Atlas coordinator Jesse Sauder and library director David Bauman.

If you any to carpool from Selinsgrove, please meet at the Gelnett Library no later than 7:20 am!

Each month on the third Saturday, Snyder County Libraries and Snyder County Bird Atlas (3rd Edition) Coordinators host a local bird walk in the county.

Happening today as part of the Selinsgrove 250 event series, join us at 5:30 pm at Rudy Gelnett Library for demonstrations by the Susquehanna Valley Spinners & Weavers Guild. Learn about the process from wool to fabric and get hands-on experience with crafts practiced in 1776.

Check out what’s happening this week at Rudy Gelnett Library!

This Monday for Selinsgrove 250, join us at 5:30 pm at Rudy Gelnett Library for demonstrations by the Susquehanna Valley Spinners & Weavers Guild. Learn about the process from wool to fabric and get hands-on experience with crafts practiced in 1776.

Tuesday, June 16th at Gelnett, join Miss Anna for Toddler Story Time. Intended for ages 2 years-kindergarten.
There will also be a Teen Creative Club at 5:30 at Gelnett, so come hang out and make a craft, different crafts available! Snacks provided.

Wednesday, June 17th, the Game Warden will be visiting from the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Thursday, June 18th at Gelnett, we’ll have our usual Baby Story Time at 9:30 and Family Story Time at 5:30 with Miss Anna.
