Come join our team at SCP as our new Home School Liaison!

Another way to think of the Home School Liaison position could also be family engagement coordinator. This position serves as a trusted connection between students, families, the school, and community-based resources. This position works alongside families to identify needs, reduce barriers to student success, and connect families with appropriate support both within the school and in the broader community.

The coordinator builds positive relationships with families and helps ensure that families know what resources are available to them. This may include connecting families with outside counseling and therapy services, food and basic-needs assistance, healthcare resources, transportation, housing support, parenting resources, community programs, and other services that promote student and family well-being.

The Home School Liaison does not provide clinical or therapeutic services. Instead, the role focuses on relationship-building, resource navigation, communication, advocacy, and coordination of support.

The Silver Creek High School clothing closet is in need of clothes: sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, sweaters, coats, professiinal/business casual wear for interviews, Silver Creek items, and new or gently used shoes. Sizes Adult small-plus sizes. Donations can be dropped off to the main office at SCHS during business hours.
