In 1962, President John F. Kennedy declared May 15 as Peace Officer’s Memorial Day. The week of this date is National Police Week. This week pays special tribute to law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

We honor all law enforcement and corrections officers and reflect on the dedication and commitment to the safety of our citizens.

The Town of Sellersburg has been awarded $942,406.11 from INDOT through the CCMG Program. Combined with the Town’s contribution, we will doing over $1.2M in paving and road improvement projects over the next few months.

Within Sellersburg Town limits, the following road improvement projects will be completed in 2021 as part of CCMG. Construction is scheduled to start next week (5/10/21) on Utica Street.

4/16/21 Vista Place and Hawthorne Glen 48hr Boil Water Advisory

Due a contractor hitting our watermain at the 5400 block of Hwy 403, Vista Place and Hawthorn Glen customers of Sellersburg Water will be on a precautionary 48 hour boil water advisory.

Once service is restored and testing results are determined to be within proper standards, a "Boil Water Lifted" notice will be posted through the Town's social media, website, news outlets, and Everbridge notification system.

Be sure to click "Stay in eGIS" the rest of these instructions will not work in Elevate. 2) click "continue as guest", then click the button ok 3) on the right hand side of the screen there is a tab called "map contents", click on that. 4) scroll down and click the box for "Sellersburg Council Districts" then return the tab by clicking on it. 5) in the upper left hand box, click the down arrow to search by property street.
