A message from MIss Tohono O'odham Nation 1st attendant Tyloria Antone celebrating The UNITY organization.

45 great years of leadership, friendships and most importantly an organization that inspires so many youth today. I'm blessed and grateful to have been apart of UNITY as I served as the 2019-2020 Western Regional Representative. The United National Indian Tribal Youth Organization has helped me tremendously with opportunities to gain leadership roles. Whether it was public speaking, Attending meetings or going to different events and having interaction with other youth. Thank you to the UNITY Staff who do so much by making things possible for the youth in various states. Here's to many more years of inspiring hope and Changing lives of Native youth.
Happy 45th Birthday UNITY

Hello good day everyone my name is Tanika Raymond I’m the current 2020-2021 Miss Tohono O’odham Nation 1st Attended. I come from the cowlic community sells district. This year has definitely been a learning experience for me. I remember going into our pageant week not knowing any O’odham but as my term is coming to and end I now know my full introduction but not only that I have picked up some of our language. I am definitely glad that I took the opportunity to run and represent the Tohono O’odham Nation as an ambassador. Im super excited for the contestants that have chosen to run this year. I know that this past year has been hard for everyone and they are all dealing in there own way my prayers and thoughts go out to everyone. I hope you all tune in on Sunday to support our outgoing royalty and welcome in our new royalty!

My name is SuNigh Antone and I currently serve as your Miss Tohono O'odham Nation 2020-2021. I come from the Santa Rosa Community in the Great Gu Achi District. It has been a challenging yet resilient year for everyone. My heart continues to be with you all during these unprecedented times. I would like to commend you all for continuing to take all the safety precautions in keeping yourself and those around you safe. I am very excited for this year's contestants in stepping up and vying for the title of Miss Tohono O'odham Nation. These ladies have been working hard to prepare. I wish them nothing but the best throughout their reign. I encourage you all to tune in on Sunday to cheer them on or leave them some encouraging comments this week.

To conclude, I would like to thank you all for allowing me to represent you, the Tohono O'odham Nation, this past year. This year has taught me a lot about strengths, weaknesses, and learning to adapt to a new normal. The continued support from friends, family, and everyone else is what has kept us going. I am forever grateful & blessed to have been given this amazing opportunity this past year. My love and prayers are with you all always. May the Lord continue to bless each and everyone of you.

(Happy New Years to you all)

My name is Monique Tas Heosig Ramon

I am 21 years old. I come from the Covered Wells village in the Gu-Achi District.

A fun brief background about myself

I have 2 dogs named “Chops” and “Bailey”

3 cats named “Alfalfa,” “Mittens,” and “Little Brother”

I live alone so I spend most of my time with my pets. I am definitely a people person because of that! I love to meet new people and have fun conversations

Also, love to travel. So, when I get opportunity I definitely take it. My farthest trip was to the Gold Coast of Australia.

I currently own my business in health and wellness.

My favorite song right now is TURN THE MUSIC UP by NF 😁😅

Although I have a lot of interest in many things,

I have always been passionate about Miss Tohono O’odham Nation and participating in the pageant. I am excited for this year’s pageant and to meet everyone.

I hope you all have a good day, stay safe and God Bless You
