My name is Jessica Ortega and I am 18 years old. I am from the village of Pan Tak residing in the Schuk Toak District and currently a senior at the Baboquavari High School. My mother is Teresa Antonio and my Father is Francisco Ortega Jr, My Paternal grandparents are Francisco Ortega Sr and Geneva Jose. My Maternal grandparents are William Antonio Sr and Lois Lejero. My paternal grandparents are the late Gerri and Micheal Mendez. My maternal grandparents are the late Josephine Salazar and Richard Salazar. I'm currently attending NAU. Today's the day I close this beautiful chapter of my life, today's the day I take all the memories with me that I've created in the past two (2) years. The lessons, the encounters, the smiles the hugs, I will take them and carry them with me through my life's journey.Thank you to each and everyone of you for the continued support throughout my reign. It has been and amazing 364 days representing all of our O'odham. It has truely been an honor to serve you as the ambassador of the Tohono O'odham Nation.

This week we have had the opportunity to travel to different districts to introduce this year's contestants, and learn about what our nations district provides for their communities. My name is Florian Pablo, I come the West Santa Rosa village in the GREAT🫶🏽 Gu Achi District. My parents are Ernest Pablo Jr and Melanie Pablo. My late paternal Grandparents are Mary Pablo and Ernest Pablo Sr. My maternal grandfather is Enrique Siquieros Sr.

Currently I reside and work in Casa Grande as a Medical Assistant. I’m exciting for the pageant this Sunday. Thank you all for your continued support and well wishes for myself and the other girls.

Day 1 of Pageant Week
Im having a wonderful time with these lovely ladies. Yesterday we started the day in my community, Wa:k Cekṣan to hear a presentation about the community. We then made are way to the Archie Hendricks nursing home to introduce this years contestants and do some TONCA media. We ended the day in Sif Oidak Cekṣan to hear about their communitys and district.
