⚠️ SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ⚠️

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Delaware County, Indiana. Strong storms moving through the area may produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall, dangerous lightning, and possible hail. Residents are encouraged to take precautions now and stay weather aware. ()

⛈️ Safety Tips:
• Move indoors immediately if you hear thunder
• Stay away from windows during the storm
• Secure loose outdoor items
• Avoid driving through flooded roadways — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
• Keep phones charged and have multiple ways to receive weather alerts

Storms are moving east across Indiana and conditions may change rapidly. Continue monitoring local forecasts and updates from the National Weather Service Indianapolis.

Stay weather away today! 🌧️

A severe weather risk exists today across much of Indiana as a line of storms moves in from west to east after 12pm ET today. Main concern is damaging wind to 60mph followed by large hail to 1" in diameter. Tornadoes are not a huge concern today, but we can't rule out an isolated one occurring. Storms should be weakened below severe limits by 8pm ET tonight.

Means: A TORNADO HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY RADAR, WEATHER SPOTTERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, OR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
