Hello Indianola families,
Indianola School Social Works, are excited to invite you to a special 10-week parent workshop using the nationally recognized Parent Project program.
As parents, we all have moments when we feel overwhelmed—when we’ve tried every strategy we know, but nothing seems to work. Sometimes we feel alone, unsure of what to do next, or like no one truly understands what we’re going through.
That is exactly why we are offering this workshop.
Over the course of 10 weeks, parents will come together to learn new tools, share experiences, and support one another. You’ll gain practical, real-life strategies to better understand your children, strengthen communication, and build stronger, healthier relationships at home. This is a wonderful chance to connect with other families, learn new techniques, and feel empowered as a parent. Workshops will begin on Thursday January 22nd all the way through March 26th (Once a week, Thursdays only).
Dinner and childcare will be provided each week, so we hope this makes it easier for you to participate.
On the flyer you received, you will find a QR code. Simply scan it to sign up or to reach out if you have questions. You can also use the form linked to request support or contact our School Social Workers directly—Sayra Villagomez or Nate Pennington—and we will be happy to help.
This workshop will be in English only, Spanish workshop will be offered in the fall next year.
We truly hope you’ll join us for this meaningful and supportive experience.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you there.
