The water made it to about 1 foot from the bottom of the I-35 Access Rd bridge.

Well, in all we faired pretty well. A few residents experienced high water in their yards and out buildings. We will be driving the area conducting damage assessments this morning.
The Cibolo Creek Crested here in Selma about 0220hrs on July 16, 2026. 22.4 feet is the approximation as the monitor went off line during the crest.
Lookout Rd and FM 1518 are open. Evans Road still has water over it in places, the prediction is that the water will not recede very quickley from this point. Better to make plans to avoid this thoroughfare for a a day or two at least.

Evans Road at Lookout is now closed as well. This will also close Lookout road at that intersection.
The Cibolo is expected to rise another six to seven feet.

Evans Road between I35 and Lookout Rd has been closed due to the Cibolo Creek crossing the roadway.

Although Cibolo Creek is forecast to crest around 1:00 AM on July 16, flooding impacts to low-lying areas may begin as early as 9:00 PM tonight.
