Johnston County families are invited to a FREE Child Wellness & Resource Event for children ages 3–5.

The event is on Saturday, July 18, from 9 AM – 12 PM at the Partnership for Children in Selma. Screenings include hearing, vision, speech, and developmental checks, along with connections to local community resources.

We were so excited to participate in the Chick-fil-A Smithfield Selma Little Nuggets & Me event this morning.

Our morning was filled with fun activities! We searched for bears around the restaurant, created our own bear puppets, and enjoyed the fun and interactive children’s book, Going on a Bear Hunt.

Thank you to Chick-fil-a and everyone who joined us for a morning of stories, crafts, and creativity. We can’t wait for our next adventure!

Come out on June 13 for this in-person training covering infant, child, and adult CPR, as well as First Aid. This course is required for child care providers and helps participants develop the skills needed to respond to emergencies.

Choo Choo Choose Safety is right around the corner!

Join Read to Grow JoCo on June 16 at the Selma Fire Department for a fun and educational event focused on railroad safety and local history. Families will learn important safety tips and have the opportunity to tour the Selma Train Station following the presentation.

We look forward to seeing families come together to learn, explore, and have fun while staying safe around railroad tracks.
