FEMA will be back in McNairy County with their Mobile Disaster Resource Center to assist with Individual Assistance. They will be set up at the McNairy County Courthouse on May 26th to May 30th. The hours will be 7AM to 7PM. If you have not applied for Individual Assistance relating to the winter storm this will be your opportunity.

As of today, 534 McNairy County citizens have been approved for Individual Assistance totaling $425,203.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – PLEASE SHARE

FEMA will set up a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) at the McNairy County Courthouse beginning Saturday May 2nd through Saturday May 9th. The MDRC will be open 7am – 7pm every day except Sunday, they will be open from 1pm – 5pm on Sunday.

If you were impacted by Winter Storm Fern you will be able to register for assistance, check you application status, submit your paperwork, and access other FEMA services. This is different from the Mobile Information Center that was previously at the courthouse. This is a full-service recovery center.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.

FEMA will setup a Mobile Information Center at the courthouse starting tomorrow. They will be here April 23rd -25th. Their hours will be Thursday and Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday hours will be 10am - 2pm. You will be able to register for Individual Assistance at this location. If you need to register for assistance or have questions for FEMA it can be handled at the Mobile Information Center. You can also register for Individual Assistance online at DisasterAssistance.gov.

You will be able to register and get any information you may need at this location.

To register for FEMA Individual Assistance as a result of Winter Storm Fern you can go to https://www.disasterassistance.gov/

We are anticipating FEMA to set up a Disaster Relief Center in the area but we do not have dates yet. As soon as we get the dates we will update you.

It is important to report damage to your home using the TEMA Damage Survey. Some homes will have damage that cannot be seen using traditional damage assessment methods. For example, flooding in the home due to pipes busting. This is for damage to your home, it does not include outbuildings or other structures.

If your home was damaged during the winter storm please complete the TEMA Damage Survey.
