FREE Classes for HiSet (GED)prep are available! Call 731-645-5386 for information! For our present and future Hi-Set students, we are pleased to announce a new schedule for Adult Education classes in Hardin and McNairy Counties for the coming year:

Hardin County:
Tuesdays, 9 am - 12 pm
Thursdays, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

McNairy County:
Tuesdays, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Wednesdays, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Thursdays, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

2016 GED/HiSet Graduation will be Thursday, June 30 at Selmer Middle School. Graduates should arrive at least 15 minutes early (Ceremony begins at 6 PM). Caps and gowns will be supplied for graduates. Graduates may keep their tassels. The McNairy County Literacy Council is sponsoring this event. Thank you !! Please RSVP to Micki Greer. Students: NEXT week is the official HiSet Exam for your diploma. If you haven't completed your OPT (practice test), please attend class on Monday, February 8 to qualify for the FREE voucher to test. The Official HiSet exam will be next week (Feb 10-11)in Crump. The test will also be offered in Selmer on February 17.

December Greetings from Adult Education! Our final group of HiSet testers for 2015 will be Wednesday, December 16, 8 AM in Selmer at the Charlotte Boley Education Center, 701 Industrial Park Drive. December 16 will also be our last day of class unitl the New Year. Our first day back to class will be Tuesday, January 5. Best wishes to our testers and Happy Holidays from our staff and students!
