Yesterday was a planning meeting for the 165th Anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh in April 2027! Stay tuned. They are anticipating 30-40,000 re-enactors, special guests, and visitors! We’ll try to keep you updated, but this will be a fabulous historical event in Old Monterey (Michie), Tennessee!

It is with sadness we announce the death of Mrs. Marilyn Holmes, Director of the Dyersburg Archives. She was the wife of Venon Holmes. Both Marilyn and Vernon have visited at the McNairy County Archives and have hosted us at their Archives. Marilyn will be missed.
