With the school year underway, here’s your reminder: check in on your child’s IEP.

Make sure the services, accommodations, supports, and goals written into that plan are actually being followed. If something doesn’t look right, ask questions. Document your concerns. And don’t be afraid to request a meeting.

An IEP isn’t just paperwork. It’s a plan your child is entitled to have implemented.

Dolly Parton showed us that loving children means believing in their potential and giving them every opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive.

Her heart for literacy and her lifelong investment in children changed countless lives and will continue to inspire generations.

What a beautiful legacy. 💙

Don’t clutch your pearls. 💁‍♀️

Seasons serve us differently, and nobody knows that better than a parent.

Public school. Private school. Homeschool. Charter school. Microschool.

Education freedom isn’t about the type of school.

It’s about the CHILD.

It’s about meeting families where they are and giving parents the freedom to choose what works in each season.

What if the next wave of education freedom is already sitting in our communities every Monday through Friday? 👀

Churches already have classrooms, trusted communities, and a heart for serving families. This article makes a fascinating case for using those existing spaces to help launch microschools, hybrid programs, and other innovative education options.

This is exactly the kind of outside-the-box thinking that can create MORE options for families and put parents back in the driver’s seat.

Definitely worth the read!
