Mississippi Power is currently removing, and resetting a broken Power Pole in front of the Seminary Elementary School. Power outages will be from the Seminary High School to Highway 49 North/South. Power will be restored as soon as possible. Drive Safely in Seminary.

On tomorrow January 12, 2024, from sunrise to sunset, the flags of The United States of America, and the flags of the State of Mississippi will be flown in the Town of Seminary at half staff in the remembrance of George County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jeremy Malone who was killed in the line of duty on January 4, 2024.
