Seminole family and friends-

FJ Young will be partnering with the Seminole Garden Club to ‘spruce up’ our front patio area. We have purchased new tables and have a vision for how we can turn this beautiful space into a great outdoor learning area for students and somewhere our school community can enjoy gorgeous west Texas days. Our flower beds will be a focus as we envision an area where students can learn skills and techniques to plant, grow, and nurture all types of plants. They are, however, in need of lots of help. As we begin the process of cleaning them up and prepping for the year, if you have any soil you would like to donate please contact Dr. Hawkins or by simply commenting on this post. We’d love to have your help! We are excited for what this space could become and we look forward to engaging in more community involvement in the future!

✨🌟Our End-of-Year Glow Party was the perfect reward for a year full of learning, new friendships, unforgettable memories, and so much fun. Watching our students shine bright after all their hard work was truly the cherry on top of an amazing school year. 💫
A HUGE shoutout to DJ Ernie Salazar for bringing the energy and keeping the party glowing all afternoon long! Even in retirement from FJ Young, he continues to selflessly pour into our staff and students and we’re so grateful. Kindergarten Graduation Info for Friday, May 22nd:

Each pod will have a designated time for graduation and parents will need to enter based on which pod they are coming to see. Times will be as follows;

8:30- Alexander, Baker, Nichols, Peddy (Parents enter through the back gym door- Door 16 from 8:15 until 8:30)

9:15- Flenniken, Friesen, Nikkila (Parents enter through the front office door- Door 1 from 9:00-9:15)

10:00- Cox, Hernandez, Medina (Parents enter through the back gym door- Door 16 from 9:45-10:00)

10:45- Jones, Nolen, Whitaker (Parents enter through the front office door- Door 1 from 10:30-10:45)

PLEASE NOTE:
NO FOOD OR DRINKS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM
PARENTS WILL SIGN STUDENTS OUT FROM MPR AFTER GRADUATION
PICTURE AREAS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE MPR AFTER GRADUATION

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we are approaching the end of the school year, I would like to remind you that if your child has medication in the Nurse’s Office, you will need to pick those up, no later than 12:30 on Friday May 22nd. Any medications that are not picked up, will be properly disposed of and cannot be held over the summer.

If your child will need medication at school for the 26/27 school year you can get medication forms from the School Nurse or the school website.
