Every day, we feel incredibly blessed and grateful for the volunteers who help serve meals at our shelters.

Their generosity is a constant reminder that the saying, “It takes a village,” couldn’t be more true. Because of our amazing community, our residents are met with kindness, compassion, and support each and every day.

1923 - 2026 ✨

Today, we remember and celebrate the life of Mary Catherine Quinn Rushe, a beloved resident of Bethlehem Housing and cherished friend of our community.

For more than 14 years, Mary Catherine called Bethlehem Housing home. During that time, she formed countless friendships and touched the lives of many residents, staff, and visitors with her kindness, warmth and enduring spirit.

Just before her passing, we had the privilege of celebrating her 102nd birthday surrounded by those who loved her. Looking back on these joyful moments, we are reminded of a life filled with family, friends and unconditional love.

Mary Catherine entered eternal rest on June 3, 2026 while she will be deeply missed, her memory will remain forever a part of the Bethlehem Housing family.

When asked the secret to a long life, Mary Catherine simply replied: “Just keep breathing”

Please join us in keeping her family and all who loved her in your prayers.

May she rest in peace 💜🩵

Go Tampa Hope residents, go! 😃💜

Some of our residents spent the afternoon cleaning up the streets around our campus, picking up debris and helping keep our community beautiful.

Despite the Florida heat, they showed up ready to work- and we said thank you with pizza! 🍕☀️

Now a weekly initiative, our Helpers of Hope are proudly sporting their new Tampa Hope purple vests and making a positive impact throughout the neighborhood.

The streets look better and the neighborhood feels brighter thanks to them caring enough to make the difference! 😊

A heartfelt thank you to the NJHS students from Trinity School for Children for their generous donations and for spending time with our residents at Tampa Hope.
