Tuesday, September 8th

There will be a scheduled water outage on Park Heights Road beginning at 7:00 AM.

The outage is necessary so crews can complete a new tie-in at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

⏰ Estimated outage time: 6–8 hours

Seminole fireworks will shoot AFTER the storm passes. The projected arrival is 9 PM and forecasted to pass around 10 PM. TIMES ARE VARIABLE depending upon wind and rain.

During the early hours of 07/02/2026 the Splashpad in Seminole was broken into and vandalized. The Seminole Police Department upon notification immediately began an investigation. After reviewing available surveillance video and following an anonymous tip, investigators identified GRADY AURUVA BROWN as a potential suspect. BROWN was interviewed this afternoon and admitted his actions. BROWN was arrested and will be booked into the Seminole County Jail on anticipated charges of Burglary and Malicious Injury to Property.

This is an arrest, not a conviction. Person is innocent till proven guilty. Formal charges will be determined by the Seminole County District Attorney's Office.
