When one of our own needs help, our community answers the call. ❤️‍🔥

David Condarco is a dedicated local first responder who proudly serves our community through the Seminole Fire Department and Seminole EMT Volunteer Association. David is currently hospitalized due to complications from a recent illness and is facing a long road to recovery.

David has spent countless hours answering the call and being there for others in their time of need. Now it’s our turn to be there for him and his family.

We are holding a benefit raffle with some AMAZING prizes! 🎟️🔥

Public Safety Alert: Emergency crews are on scene at a fire in the 1200 block of North Main Street, behind Peter's Irrigation. We are aware of the incident. Please do not call 911 to report this fire unless you have a separate emergency or new, critical information. Keep the area clear for responding crews.

🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE – SEMINOLE FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING

The Gaines County Sheriff’s Office would like to make the public aware that the Seminole Fire Department is conducting training at a residence located near HWY 214 and CR 206.

As part of the training, the structure will be intentionally burned. Residents and motorists in the area may see smoke and, at times, small flames coming from the property.

The Seminole Fire Department will be monitoring the structure throughout the weekend to ensure the training remains controlled and safe.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and wanted to provide this notice so there is no cause for concern if you see smoke or flames in the area.

It’s that time of year again! As students across Gaines County head back to school, we want to remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and watch for school buses.

When a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, STOP! Give our kids the time and space they need to get to and from school safely.

Let’s all do our part to keep the students of Gaines County Schools safe this school year.

Slow down. Pay attention. Stop for the bus. 🚌🛑
