Yesterday, Blue Shift spent the day hanging around… literally.

Our crew put in work during High Angle Medical Rescue training, sharpening the skills it takes to safely reach, treat, and rescue patients in challenging environments. From rope systems to patient packaging, every evolution helps us stay ready for when the call comes.

Training hard so we can serve better.

When you change your clocks tonight, check your smoke alarms. Test them, swap batteries, and make sure they’re less than 10 years old.
Working smoke alarms cut the risk of dying in a home fire by half. Test each alarm, replace batteries if needed, and look for any that are more than 10 years old.

Today we’re proud to recognize Seminole Fire Department Captain Jason Hudson and Firefighter Conlan Decker for spending time at Wilson Elementary School reading to the kids in honor of Read Across America.

There’s nothing better than seeing our firefighters in the classroom, encouraging young students to read, learn, and dream big. Moments like this remind us that serving the community goes far beyond emergency calls — it’s about building relationships and investing in the next generation.

Thank you, Captain Hudson and Firefighter Decker, for representing the Seminole Fire Department with pride and for making a positive impact on the students at Wilson Elementary.
