⚠️ SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ⚠️
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Caswell County, along with portions of Rockingham County, NC, and Pittsylvania County and the City of Danville, VA.
🕖 Warning in effect until 7:00 PM
Hazards:
🌬️ Wind gusts up to 60 mph
🧊 Quarter-size hail
These storms have the potential to cause:
• Downed trees and power lines
• Damage to roofs and siding
• Hail damage to vehicles
• Scattered power outages
Residents in Providence, Yanceyville, Milton, and throughout Caswell County should move indoors immediately and stay away from windows until the storm passes.
🚒 If you encounter downed power lines, treat them as energized and stay away.
