Mrs. Melani’s class turned into detectives today as they had to figure out which member of the Petrifying Place Value Gang made a number mess in their classroom. Students were placed into groups and they had to solve place value problems in order to receive clues to help them solve the case. They were all great detectives and figured out that Suspect B (23,951) was guilty of the crime.

This week, Mrs. Granier put a fun spin on reading with First Chapter Friday! Students choose a book they’re interested in, and she reads the first chapter (or two) to see if she can hook them!

Because sometimes… all it takes is one chapter to find your next favorite book!

We can’t wait to hear which books our students discover!
