It’s time to roll up our sleeves and show our community some love. The Annual Rotary Clean-Up Day is officially on the calendar for Saturday, May 2nd, 2026.

Our goal is simple: improve the appearance of the town we call home. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or a local business partner, we need your hands to help make Senatobia shine.

We’ve got a bright and early start to beat the heat and get the job done quickly!

7:00 AM - Breakfast and Check-In (First Baptist Church Family Life Center)

7:45 AM - Deployment (Head out to designated clean-up areas

10:00 AM - Wrap-up (Estimated finish time)

🍳 Breakfast Provided

No need to grab a bite before you arrive! The Rotary Club will be providing a full breakfast at the Family Life Center to get everyone energized and ready to work.

To ensure we have enough breakfast for everyone, please keep an eye on your inbox. We will be sending out a follow-up email as the date approaches to get a rough headcount of how many volunteers your organization plans to bring.

We’re looking for vendors, artisans, makers, and businesses ready to be part of one of the biggest events of the year in downtown Senatobia. If you want to join the fun, now’s the time to apply.

Your spot is not guaranteed until payment is received, so be sure to complete both the application and payment to lock in your space.

Payment can be made online via Venmo or PayPal (processing fees will apply).

You may also print the application and mail it with a check to: 135 N Front Street (Include business/event name on the memo line of the check.)

All applications are reviewed and vetted, and acceptance is not guaranteed. Spaces are confirmed only after approval and payment.

We’ll also have a very limited number of early load‑in slots on Friday, available only for select locations. If you want one of those coveted early spots, make sure to indicate it when you register.

📣 Tate County Miss Hospitality Court Announced

The Tate County Economic Development Foundation is proud to recognize the outstanding young women selected to serve on the 2026 Tate County Miss Hospitality Court. These students represent the very best of our community as Goodwill Ambassadors, helping promote tourism, economic development, and community service through their spirit of hospitality.

This year’s court includes 2026 Miss Hospitality Mary Lauren Lane, along with Court Members Aleigha Whittle and Audrey Pinkston, and Alternate Court Members Taylor Newson and Adley Hall. Each of these young women embodies the core values of the Tate County Miss Hospitality program—service, leadership, and a genuine love for Tate County and its communities.

Throughout the coming year, members of the Tate County Miss Hospitality Court will support local events, engage in community initiatives, and help showcase the many opportunities that make Tate County a wonderful place to live, work, and visit. In addition, a Little Miss will be selected in the near future to serve alongside the titleholder and further promote the program’s mission.

The local program is part of the statewide Mississippi Miss Hospitality Program, which began in 1949 to identify a knowledgeable and passionate young woman between the ages of 18–24 to promote the State of Mississippi. Today, there are approximately 45 local programs operating across the state, each led by dedicated directors.

Tate County’s program originally thrived from 1952 to 1995, producing 54 representatives from Senatobia, Coldwater, and Tate County as a whole. After a 28-year hiatus, the program was successfully revived in 2023 through the collaborative efforts of former titleholders. It now operates under the leadership of Senatobia’s 1977–78 Miss Hospitality, Tina Burcham Smith, who serves as Director alongside her husband, Artie, as Co-Director.

While the program has evolved over the years—offering participants opportunities to develop communication, leadership, and professional skills—it remains firmly rooted in its mission to promote Mississippi locally, regionally, and nationally.

The Tate County Economic Development Foundation congratulates these exceptional young women and looks forward to the positive impact they will make as ambassadors for our community.🎉
