Today at NWCC kids' camp, SFD provided excellent training on hands-only CPR and basic first aid. The kids were so excited to learn these life-saving skills.

Thankful for a Chief that prioritizes training and education! Leading by example.

The Mississippi Executive Fire Officer Program, Session 2. These students worked diligently on their applied research projects, finalizing their research questions and refining their problem and purpose statements as they prepare to begin their research. They engaged in leadership discussions led by Instructor Supervisor Luke Smith on insights from Dick Winters, and Instructor Chief Matt Hinkle presented on the use of AI in research. They also heard from guest speakers Dr. Brian Boutwell, PhD from the University of Mississippi, Dr. Reed Abraham from the Mississippi Insurance Department, and Jesse Bowman of the Mississippi State Fire Academy, who led a session on APA formatting.
