The Great Famine of 1845-1852 created a cultural flip in Ireland where thousands of women were suddenly unable to earn wages or get married. This exhibit focuses on Irish women immigrants who came to Syracuse and how they utilized the booming industrial revolution to establish their worth in this new country.

Before you finalize your Memorial Day weekend plans, swing by the library and check out one of our Adventure Passes! Your library card can unlock free family admission to incredible regional attractions.

๐Ÿ“Œ How it works:
Passes can be checked out for up to one week by library cardholders in good standing.

They are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no reservations or holds, so stop in soon!).

Limit of one pass per family.
